Sourcing...

For the shoot we began to source some jewellery and materials that we could use.

We sourced some lace fabrics and ribbons that we can use in the hair and make up designs:

This will have the eyeshadow dabbed through it to leave the print on the skin.

We also started purchasing fowers that we could use in the hair styles.

We looked at different flowers we thought would work for the styles of hair and make up and the colours that would link with the historical theme.

We chose to use lilies in sarah's hair and spray them with a light gold to go with the gold ribbon in her hair and her gold lips.

We chose to use a green hydrangea in cats hair as we thought it would compliment her colouring and they are big and bold flowers which we think would suit her quirky look.

For the jewellery we wanted to source some modern styled jewellery so we looked at metal collars and futuristic earrings.



This is a close up shot of one of the collars we will be using, it has gold beading in it which will relate to the historical theme.

These are some of the more modern styling of jewellery and add a bit of quirkiness to the designs.
