Model Casting

Here are the selection of models we are using for our photo shoot and the hair and make up looks they will have:

Cat:
As she has short hair, we thought it would be easier to style her in 15th century hair and make up. She will be having a centre parting with twists in her hair. Her make up will be fairly porcelain with rose cheeks and a red heart lip. As we liked the feather idea on the lash line, we will be adding feathers to the eyes, this will give it the futuristic twist.

Adriana:
She will be wearing the 17th century style ruff, with this she will have the bee-hive hair. Her make up will be very dramatic as it is a fairly plain look otherwise. The forehead and hair line will be covered in purple eyeshadow, this will be blended with black over the eyes, but this shall be applied through lace so that the pattern will cover the skin. This will help to add the lace features we have found in our research.

Kasia:
As Kasia has fiery red hair, we thought she would be best suited to the 18th century styling. With this she will have very curled, back-combed hair to make it large and voluminous which was typical of the era. To contrast with her hair, we will be doing rather dark make up, the eye make up will be dark black and will be faded into silver. We will be accesorising with a hat as we have seen a lot of feathered and netted hats in our initial research. The look will be finished with the feather eyelashes Nikita has sourced.

Jen:
Jen's hair is not quite as bright as this anymore and she has very pale skin, so we felt she would look best with the 14th century styling as the colouring for this era would compliment her. She has lovely brown eyes and so we didnt want to take too much away from that. We decided to use bronzes and dark greens in her make up, again using the lace print to link to the ther images. We will be adding a green satin head dress with a gold rim.

Unfortunately our street search did not go well and the girls we gave our number to did not contact us, but luckily enough Fay was able to source Sarah, the last model through a friend.

I do not have a picture of Sarah to add to my blog but she will be styled for the 16th century. She has long blonde hair and we will be plaiting her hair on the top of her head and adding gold ribbon through the plait, we will then cover the join with flowers. Her make up will be very golden to compliment her blonde colouring. We want the main focus to be her hair so we will be using golds, coppers and creams in her eyeshadow and finished with a gold lip.

In regards to sourcing jewellery, we will be bringing a range of jewellery, ribbons, materials, brooches etc, that we feel will work with the styles and styling on shoot so that we can see which pieces will look good with each look.
