Greg Kadel

From studying photography for many years, I have always preffered Fashion Photography. I tend to favour the more dramatic images created from either colour, make up, styling and lighting.

Kadel's images seem to always attract my attention. Ususally shot in black and white, his images are dramatic but still have elegance to them.

This is one of Kadel's more edgier images. I like the extreme close up and how the focus is on the accessories. Using the smoking as a prop, it gives the image a more rock and roll feeling. 

I feel this is a good example of how Kadel's images still retain a softness within his usual black and white style

I like this image as it has such a good contrast between the black and white tones.
