Here I have shown some shots by Nigel Barker that encorporate the wrehouse, factory style:

I do think the images are successful and they are more aesthetically pleasing using a location such as one like this, but I think that we would be more moulded to one style of photography and look then and I dont think we would be able to experiment with styling as much.
